About Us

The Holland & Knight name has long been associated with a wide variety of philanthropic activities in the communities where we practice. We strongly believe that a work force sensitive to and actively involved in community issues is an important asset both to the Holland & Knight law firm family and the communities in which we serve. We are proud to be more than just a source for donations. Our years of experience demonstrate that our hands-on approach to charitable and civic activities are an effective way to gain valuable insight and make a lasting difference.

The Foundation's two most notable community programs, Opening Doors for Children and the Holocaust Remembrance Project, rely strongly on Holland & Knight individuals who give generously of their time and talent to improve the lives of youth through mentoring, tutoring and scholarships. The Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation, Inc. was created in 1996 to take over the management and coordination of the law firm's ever-increasing charitable contributions and activities. The Foundation, a Section 501(c)(3) public charity, is run by partners of the law firm and a professional staff.

Most of the financial support of the Foundation comes from Holland & Knight LLP and members of the Holland & Knight law firm family. Key areas of support include:

  • Arts and Sciences
  • Child Services
  • Education
  • Health and Disability Issues
  • Homelessness Assistance
  • Indigent Legal Services
  • International Relief and Civic Causes
We invite you to join us in conducting today's philanthropy through combining human and financial resources in to one rewarding package. To learn more about the Foundation and how you can support its programs and activities, please call the toll free number 1-866-HK-CARES.

Our Foundation gives us an opportunity to be more than outstanding professionals. It inspires us to actively make a difference in our communities.
