The Glenn J. Winuk Humanitarian Fund

Glenn J. Winuk was a partner in the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP with a practice focusing on Construction Law. Glenn was also a decorated volunteer firefighter for 20 years and the former Fire Commissioner in Jericho, Long Island. On Tuesday, September 11th, Glenn was last seen outside the recently evacuated New York offices at approximately 9:30 a.m., donning a mask and gloves. All who knew Glenn, knew he headed to the rescue scene to assist the many New York City firemen and policemen he knew so well. Glenn had assisted in hundreds of rescue efforts, including the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. We will miss this unparalleled Holland & Knight hero.

The Glenn J. Winuk Humanitarian Fund has been established to provide charitable resources to the non-profit organizations that Glenn treasured during his lifetime.
